We’re looking for a Business Analyst for one of our partners – a well known Bulgarian technological company that offers IT solutions and BPO services.
The company constantly strives to meet the needs of a global market by developing innovative cyber-protection software, upgrading business systems, introducing new technologies, maintaining cloud networks, and creating software for specific business needs. Growing dynamically, in less than a decade they already serve thousands of customers throughout Europe and North America. The company is international with over 15 offices across the Old Continent and around the world.
While Bulgaria houses their Sofia-based headquarters, they also maintain a sizable presence in Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas.
One of the specific teams they are looking for a Business Analyst for concerns a project with one of their clients – a company which is among the largest in the FinTech industry. They offer various businesses and users an array of products and services, aimed at facilitating financial decisions. Among these are fraud prevention solutions, as well as the compiling of credit reports and loan-related risk assessments. Along with these, they also offer analytics software which allows their clients to make informed business decisions.
In this position, your duties will include defining specific operational goals and describing specifications, by gaining an understanding of various business functions. You will also perform requirements analyses and create workflow charts. Aside from this, you will have the opportunity to put forth your new ideas and discuss them with people in different departments, while also assessing the risks and foreseeing potential problems. Once the process of implementing the suggested changes is underway, you will also have the chance to assist teams in properly applying them and resolving any issues that may come up. During this time, your role will also include the creation of reports, describing the changes and the progress of their implementation.
Here you can find the professional qualifications and skills required for the role:
- At least 5 years in a Business Analyst position, or a similar role;
- An excellent capacity to translate conceptual requirements into functional requirements;
- Previous experience creating specifications, diagrams and process models;
- Hands-on experience with preparing workflow diagrams and data models, as well as wireframes and GUI interface designs;
- Thorough understanding of cost/benefit analyses;
- Ability to provide informative reports and presentations;
- Working practice with user stories and ensuring requirement testability;
- Excellent command of English (both written and verbal).
