We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our partners – a Bulgarian company, famous for their custom software solutions in a variety of domains.

One of their most successful collaborations is with a product company, known as an international leader in the development of business software. They provide solutions in spheres of cost management, CRM, ERP, human resources, databases, cloud platforms and many others. Considering the wide variety of their activities, conducting Cloud Lifecycle Management is of utmost importance for their success, because it helps optimize their cloud services and increase their flexibility.
In this regard, the company is in search of a specialist for the role of Junior DevOps Engineer, who can contribute to the work done by the Cloud Lifecycle Management team. In this capacity your responsibilities will include many DB Ops activities like validation and rollout of the new DB versions, solving problems related to periodic tasks execution and integration with other services. On top of that, you will also write and execute scripts and service requests, while keeping an eye on the regular performing of tests and their automation through scripts.
The requirements for this role are as follows:
- Some experience in the administration of databases and Linux systems;
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash and Shell;
- Ability to work with Jenkins and management tools like GIT;
- Comprehension of cloud/web architectures;
- Having worked in an Agile based environment;
- Fluency in English.
Advantageous but not mandatory:
- Basic knowledge of Java and object-oriented concepts.
